ONE DAY...THAT DAY!!!

As I looked at the handsome smiling picture of a young man who just 'kicked the bucket', I said to myself: "Death indeed has no respect for physical beauty...this man has gone to the other side of eternity NEVER to be seen on earth again!!! One day, it'll all be over...One day, we'll all be gone"! Despite the wonderful qualifications and awards of this wonderful brother; he was buried with none! His millions of naira and cheque books weren't buried with him! Beautiful condolence messages came pouring in from loved ones; but alas, he can't read any...he's gone!!!
Then I came to the conclusion that: Life is indeed empty...Only with God, does it make a meaning!

ONE DAY, whether you and I like it or not, we'll also cross to the other side of eternity! On THAT DAY when loved ones say good things about us, will it synchronise with what God will say to us on THAT day? Does our actions both in secret and in the open deserve a 'welcome faithful servant' OR 'depart worker of iniquity'? Titles, denominations, awards, etc will make no meaning on that day! When our work on earth is done and we close our eyes in death, whose face do we want to see; The glorious face of the King of kings, giving us a warm embrace and a crown, OR the ugly looking face of the wicked devil smiling sheepishly with evil in his heart?".. Dear one, PONDER ON THIS!

My beloved brothers/sisters, Hebrews 9:27 says: "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:". That lady/man, or wealth/fame, that is taking you away from God now; won't be able to stand for you on that day! Anything a man exalts above God now, will definitely hinder him from entering Heaven on that day! Our relationship with Christ alone will determine our final destination; won't it be wise to strengthen that relationship today? On that day, sinners will be cut off permanently from God; Only the pure in heart will see God and enjoy the eternal unbroken fellowship with the King of Kings! Dear one, why not make your ways right with God now? Jesus is calling out to you now: COME; won't you heed His call? THAT GREAT DAY is going to be a day of joy for some, and a day of weeping for others! Remember, "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad". By that time, there will be no second chance; do you wish to wait till then? ONE DAY...THAT DAY...WHOSE FACE WILL YOU(& I) SEE?
