For we get most of these precious things after going through a lot of sufferings and pains. Thus, it makes sense why many people withdraw from any endeavor that might cost them those precious things that they have. The precious things that does not come easily, therefore, we are unwilling to let go of it easily, even when it may be the only life saving grace for someone else
