My People is a new genre of music called Afro Beat Chanting(ABC). The song my people is about the hustle and struggle of the Nigerian and African people, the oppression, the uneven distribution of the national treasury,lack of sense of responsibilty by the government and individuals. The song is also a warning,because what goes around comes back around like Karma and Boomerang. My people is also letting people out there to realize that life is vanity and all we need is one love.
