On Saturday we reported a story about prominent singers performing for Libya's Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi and his family for large sums of cash.
While none of the others we mentioned, Beyonce, Usher and Mariah Carey have admitted to doing it, one artist has.
Canadian singer Nelly Furtado admitted on her twitter account that she played a 45 minute set for the family in 2007, but will now give the money to charity.

After a highly-publicized divorce and Superbowl fumble Christina Aguilera is hanging onto any ounce of her integrity by a thread and I question that thread after hearing this story. According to one of US Weekly’s “insiders” Christina got it on in the bathroom with her 25 year old boyfriend Matt Rutler at a family event. “Her friends are fed up,” the source says of Aguilera’s recent antics, which included a New Year’s Eve blowout fight with her mom and a booze-filled night of crying at L.A. club The Dime in January. “Nobody can get through to her. They think she’s trashy. And her ego is out of control.”
A day care operator's ability to slip out of the United States before she was charged in the Thursday afternoon fire that claimed the lives of four children has prompted questions about whether law enforcement or prosecutors dropped the ball.
Jessica Tata, 22, left Texas on Saturday on a flight bound for Nigeria. One day later, a charge of reckless injury to a child was filed. But it was too late. Tata was gone. A law enforcement official who did not want to be identified said Tata left the United States for NIgeria on a delta flight from Atlanta on saturday night, about 24hrs before she was charged with recklessly injuring a child.
Tata's brother, Ron Tata, 26, said Monday that he had "no idea" of his sister's whereabouts. He said he had "heard rumors" that she was arrested in Houston, in Georgia or possibly in Nigeria.
He declined further comment when told that she was in Nigeria.
Seven Children were in Tata's care at the home-based day care she operated in west Houston when a fire broke out on Thursday. Four of the children died. Two are being treated at Shriners Hospital for children In Galveston in critical but stable condition. Tata left the children without adult supervision at the time she went for shopping.
Sisters Makayla Denise Dickerson, 2, and Kiyanna Darlene Richardson, 5, have lost their 3-year-old brother, Shomari Leon Dickerson, who died in Thursday's day care fire. Makayla is being treated at the Shriners Hospital for Children.
