When you read your Bible from Genesis to Revelation, it does not take long to realise that Jesus believes what you say is important. I mean, Jesus takes value of what you say. There will be an account given of the words spoken by your mouth.
Matthew 12:37, “For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
Reflect for a moment over your life and you will see that your life can never and will never rise above the level of your thoughts and words. The words you speak determine the kind of life you enjoy. Your words control and dominate you because they express your thoughts, which are the seed of your life. If your words are not according to the truth of God’s Word, they will be idle, meaningless and oftentimes destructive.
If your confession has not been in line with God’s Word in the past, it is not too late to start to do the right thing. God says that what you say will become a visible reality in the natural world if you steadfastly hold on to your confession of faith. Your responsibility now is to keep the Words of the Holy Spirit in your mind, in your mouth and in every conversation.
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, open our lips to every good word. Make us speak Your language, in Jesus’ name.

On a bus going from Aba to Lagos, the phone of a girl sitting close to me rang she picks it & said:"Honey, I'm in a bus going to Abuja for the burial, I'll call you when I get there".
Another girl's phone rang, she said:"Sweetheart I'm on my way to Port Harcourt for the Masters Degree Form, pls send me Credit for the trip"
Another one's phone rang, she said..."Alhaji, sorry I'm on my way to Owerri for the interview, I'll call you later".
A yoruba man who was sitting @ the back of the bus suddenly raises his voice in anger: "Driver STOP, STOP! pls, park this bus, where exactly is this bus going to!!?
