ABOUT ME I am Sanmi Ebenezer Ajanaku, popularly known as Sammy West, the Mosunmola Hit Maker who is not out with another hot joint titled Finest party with the Nigerian rapper |Reminisce. I am from Osun State in the South Western Region of Nigeria. I grew up from a good Christian Home who was expected to become a Medical Doctor but ended up in Music and an undergraduate of Computer Science and Engineering in Lautech. I started out as the Youngest Choir in our 3000 Congregation Church's Mass Choir and that really shaped me into the real man in me as a child. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY I have been in the Music Industry professionally since 2008, I did my first production with Femi Odewole Entertainment World in Ibadan who still happens to be my Producer till date, I work with a lot of hands such a Dapson Nerry, Kue Bounce, DJ Bassman, Alex O Frabs of BeatZone Records and a lot of prominent artists in the Music Industry. WHAT INSPIRES YOU What really inspire me most are my own deepest feelings and emotions. I am some kind of person who loves to express my mind about my past, my situation, my environment or anything i wish everyone should know. I love to let people know how i feel about things that happen around generally each day. Mosunmola is an expression of my Past, Nigerian Boy Story and I can be what I Want to Be is an expression of my future while Ileke Idi is an expression of Good Girls who are been confused to Ashewos. So i can say I Get inspired by God who puts the taught in me. CHALLENGES The Challenges I do face most in the Industry is getting the right people to support any concept I want to bring out for most of my works, some of my works concepts are really complex and only creative minds can express it the way I want, so i always face the challenges of expressing the wrong message each time i mean something better, that�s why I always have to take patience to build anything i want to do, starting right from the concept of the beat of the song to the video, Like this Mosunmola song really took me a long time before me and my Femi could get the right minds to understand our concept of the Song. Its a love song and some still confuse it for a heartbreaking song, so its funny how we had to put things together and it really worked. I am a very creative mind and its hard to find people who can bring out such creativity in me. EMBARRASSING MOMENT The Greatest Embarrassing Moments in my life is when i even embarrass myself, like getting a song and at the end of the day, i got it produced and the result is not what i expected of my own created concept, i end up been a subject of ridicule and that had really made me strong such that i take pain to express the real concept and everybody comes out to say wow this had never been done like this before, So embarrassing moments do end up as success stones for me. ROLE MODEL The Greatest Role Model of my life would always remain the King of Juju Music, King Sunny Ade who happens to be the one who first inspired me to think of making it in the Music Industry, other greatest artists of all time i still respect most are Wyclef and Nigerians Great Lagbaja. HOW DID YOU DISCOVER YOUR TALENT I have always known Music is the best part of me because it librates my mind and uplifts me so much, i always love music and i do it just normal, if i don�t sing on my own freestyle for a moment would always be as if i am not alive for that moment. So I had to develop my potentials and now its my Happiness. SACRIFICE There is never a Prize without a Price, it takes pain, persistence and labour to get success, i do sacrifice all my Energy Time and Devotion to Music because i love to get my music to every nook and crannies out there, so i work on the message so much that its worth exporting to everybody around me. This really needs a lot of Determination and that�s what every dream of yesterday that came true today really needs. The Sammy West of today is as a result of Hard work, Persistence and Huge Labour with no waste of Time.
