I proposed to a lady recently after 1yrs of being in a relationship, I realy want to enter ther next phase & take her to the alter, but she turned me down.
After a lunch together in her apartment as I went visiting, I said to her (with a ring in my hand): Baby will u marry me?

She looked at me & sighed saying: Plz give respect to this marriage of a thing, is that how best u can do the proposal?
It's two months now & I am still confused on what next step to take.

1. Plz what are the best ways to propose marriage to a gal?

2. Is it wise to propose marriage to a gal over the phone or internet?

3. Ladies would u turn down someone u love cos of a bad marriage proposal?
