I want to get married to my 6 yes best friend, we love each other and we admitted it 3 years ago. I'm 20 and he is 21.
I'm in my going to my 4th year of university, and he his working as a chef since he went to a culinary Institute.
My dad said it OK to get married, but he will stop paying my school fees which is almost 8000$ every year. (Which means I have to pay for my last year of uni myself)
My mother said he is Igbo and I'm Yoruba so she doesn't approve him to be my husband.
I really love him so much, he is just a perfect fit for me since we were best friends before been romantic involve.
I'm frankly ready to get married to him, but what should I do about my parents?
My dad thinks I will start giving birth right away and even when I told him I will wait for another 3 yes be I have kids he always disagree since apparently u have to have babies right away.
Please advice what should I do?
Should I marry my 6 years best friend and fiance?
Or wait till I finish my last year of uni?
