It’s a pity that everyone in my office, my church, round me are rejoicing that I am a married woman, that I got married to a civil engr., and at my age (26yrs).

Unfortunately, the man I got married to was a school dropout, but he lied to me that he is a graduate.

Now the construction company he is working with has stopped operation for the past 3 months, which they are also owning them 7months salary, and he has been sitting at home doing nothing.

Funny enough, the church we are attending newly, the head pastor happens to be my former mgr. in the company I am working presently, which I have already told him my husband is a civil engr., incase if there is any vacancy in his new company (E & P, Oil & Gas Coy). Now the Pastor is requesting for my husband’s CV/credentials, I don’t know what to tell him because it will look as if I have lied to him.


The pastor has called me again today that he sense there is a problem and I should come to the church today.

So my fear is;
1) The Pastor can’t keep secret, I noticed that during the few times I have worked with him and he might decide to tell someone working in the company I am, that my husband is not a graduate and the information will keep spreading.

2) How will I look in front of the pastor, Because he noticed what I went thru before I myself became a graduate

3) The pastor will though I lied to him

4) How will my husband feel in front of him, telling him he is not a graduate any longer?
