I'm 19 years old. My friend, sarah in another state introduced me to this guy, John he 18 and so she told me about him and gave him my number. The next day he texted me and we started talking on text almost everyday or every other day ( he always initiated it). I never really had deep conversations with boys but when he came along we had deep conversations and he was just so different. I always wanted to make him laugh because it made him happy.At first i was scared because im always the one that jumps into things so prematurely and so when my friend would be like he likes my personality or that he liked something about me, i would just push it off even though i liked him a lot.So i told my friend that i would likely break watever friendship we had because i was starting to develop feelings for him, even tho i couldnt make myself do that. Well time passed and we still talked as much as we used to and so one day this guy asked for my number and i told sarah about it and i told her i didnt want it to be like the situation i had with john but even though i knew i didnt have feelings for this new guy i just decided to disclose it to her .Maybe she told him about it or something but our relationship has never been the same since. We rarely talk now ( Our last deep conversation was like in november) and i miss his company so much . Sometimes he'll text me and be like "i thought of you today " and like he's sorrry that we we dont talk as much because he's really busy. Other times i text him and he takes a while to reply and other times he doesnt reply at all. I dont know what else to do maybe he never liked me or i've messed it up by doing what i did by playing hard to get. I dont know whatelse to do now, we have never met or skyped but we used to send video chats. Should i just let it go cause he doesnt care anymore or what. Please help, thank you
