Goodmorning. Please i need an opinion on something. I got married in may 2012. So far, my marriage has not given me any serious issue. I was able to study my husband and i know his major problem is he procrastinates too much. Because of the nature of his job, he usually forgets to keep to promises due to his ever busy schedule. For example if he promises to buy something for me, i will have to keep reminding him & sometimes get angry & most times end up quarelling with him before he does it. In a bid to avoid all that unnecessary drama, i started doing stuff for myself with my money. If he promises to do something for me & i wait a while and he has not done it, i just go ahead and do it. I never knew he was actually taking note of it. My tablet pc started giving me problems in january, i told him about it, he said ok he will get me a new one. I waited & he, as usual, did not get it for me. When i had enough money, i went and bought on friday. When he came home from work, he saw it on the bed & asked me about it. I told him it's a new one i just bought. Then my husband exploded. Started shouting about how he has been seeing what i've been doing. That am i trying to say he is incapable of taking care of my needs or am i saying i don't need him or i'm better than him? He now said he doesn't want to see the tablet in his house. If i can't wait for him to get me a new one, i should stay without it. I was only doing it to avoid quarrels. I did not mean to disrespect him. What i've been doing, I mean my approach to it, (using my money to do things instead of waiting for him) was it wrong?
