Please How do i handle a marriage where am not appreciated, am not valued, I woke up been yelled or shouted at everyday on every slightest provocation. I kept wondering what have done wrong, have asked for us to talk but hubby has never avail the time for that, it is either he wakes up early and live for work as i prepare for mine, when he is back he eats and go to sleep, weekends wake up early and leave the house. I kept wondering if this is the man that promise heaven and earth. I did not force myself to marry him rather he did, he kept pestering all my siblings with pleas and my mum, my present in the house is not even felt at all, I regret marrying him just out of pity. I cater for everything in the home from house rent, his professional school fees . I provide the 3 square meal we eat even cook varieties of soups on weekends with my money. He has a son before i marry him, am the one paying his school fees and catering for him eventhough he lives with his sister. I can not remember when i got 3K from him in 3 months yet he is a working class, comes up with story always eventhough i stumble upon his salary increase which he didn't tell me. i did not stop there but am also taking care of his mother needs too. I knew i made a mistake when i allow him see my appointment letter. His family comes freely to the house and eat up whatever i stock up in the house with my money, yet he would grumble if any one is coming from my end. before we got married, my husband was always a churchy godly person but now the reverse is the case. We have been try to conceive, for 1yr 6 months now have done all necessary test advise by a gyno which they all say am fine even though they still prescribe drugs for me to increase chances but the doctors kept asking for hubby fertility test, I told them he has a son before and they said it doesn't matter. I have to force him to do the fertility test which my hubby force me to pay him back the money for his fertility test. Result of his test shows he has low sperm counts and long term infection in his body. Ever since we have done the test he just dump the result and didn't do anything about it waiting for me to buy him the expensive drugs again. He cares about his son so much that i now look like a worthless thing in the house. My heart is so heavy, why i should i continue to cope in this marriage? I fend for myself, buy his clothings and yet he is a working class. I dated him for up to 7months before we got married after i gave up my relationship because of him. Forgot to mention he his always borrowing huge sums of money from me which he will never payback. I am regretting relying on my pastor too because i was told he is God sent. Pals please help a sister with your advise because am thinking of leaving. To all singles, please do not ever disclose what you earn to a man, or marry a man without vision, Don't marry a man who his always broke, pray and hear God yourself, let no pastor or prophect influence your decison or choice of marriage. thanks.
