Pals I need your advice. I was walking to the mall one day and a guy approached me, I didn't give him attention and kept walking buy he was persistent and very respectful when chatting me up and I liked that so we exchanged numbers. We started talking but the weird part is within that week we only communicated via whatsapp and he only called me once. He said he was a very shy person, but that he only talks to me on whatsapp is very alarming. While communicating he told me he would like to be my boyfriend and told me he wants to be in my life. I have been single for 4 years (focusing on studying and now i have graduated) and turning down guys because I'm waiting for the right one and he seemed very kind and respectful when he approached me so I told him I'm not one to be wooed on whatsapp that he should do better than that. He lives in a different city, so he said he asked to come and collect me so I can visit him at his place for the weekend. I asked him why can't we meet at a public place he said hes not much of an outgoing person and that he wasn't up to doing anything outdoors. And mind you this will be our first time meeting officially so I was very weary and didn't respond. Please pals does this guy seem legit, should I visit him? Growing up I did not have a lot of influencial male figures in my life, I was also raised without a father so I'm not very good at understanding how men think and I've been very defensive and skeptical of the intentions of some males who have approached me because I am honestly scared. Please help me with advise of how to better understand men, and how I can open up more to attract a quality suitor because I would love to get married one day.
