How can a mother dispikin her child.

Few days ago mother dispikin her child because of poverty, and the child was lack of mother since then the child was begging for food and looking another desperate mother while the mother of the child is alive. To my observation is unfair to keep the child as an orphan whereas the is alive .she could have take it easy, perhaps,or maybe the life will be better later.There is one proverb that say ,that suffer before pleasure. thanks.
