What FREEDOM Means to ME

What is the price for FREEDOM?

Watch the movie "Braveheart" and you will find what a man would do just to get his FREEDOM.

I was born in an ordinary family in a small town in Malaysia. My childhood was like any typical Malaysian, nothing exciting. I was following the advice of everybody who was elder to me..."study hard, get a good job, and live a good life after I graduate".

I follow the advice blindly and got good results, got good job as an environmental consultant and finally became a senior consultant in one of the most reputable consultancy firms in Malaysia. Good salary, good life.

But something is missing. I began to feel like I was living in a prison. I had to wake up in the morning according to what my boss wanted, I had to be in the office from Monday to Friday, sometimes on weekends. I had to seek permission from my boss if I wanted to take a holiday or visit my parents in my hometown. I felt my life was controlled by someone.

Sounds familiar to you?

I felt life shouldn't be like this. Life should be more than waking up in the morning, getting stuck in the traffic jam, working from 8am to 8pm in a small cubical, going home and repeating the same routine day after day. I lived that kind of life for 5 years before I decided to do something different in life.

I wanted to get out of this TRAP that seems to have inprison everybody I knew. The RAT RACE.

I wanted to live a life that I could control what I wanted to do whenever I wanted to, wherever I wanted to. I wanted FREEDOM.

I began my search for the vehicle or path to my FREEDOM.

After two years of searching I finally realised the industry that I have been rejecting for many years - the NETWORK MARKETING industry - was the only solution for me. I didnt have a lot of money to invest, I was scared of losing my money in a conventional business, i didnt have skills and I was not a sociable person. What could I do to achieve FREEDOM if not the networking industry?

Today, after 7 years, in the industry, I have sacked my boss. I have built a business empire in more than 10 countries. I no longer need to answer to anyone for what I want to do. I wake up anytime I want to wake up.Everyday is Sunday for me. I go anywhere I want to go. I no longer need to seek someone's permission to go for holidays.

And that is FREEDOM.

Is it possible to retire young and rich? Is it realistic?

Read "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and "Retire Young Retire Rich" by Robert Kiyosaki, "The Parable of Pipeline" by Burke Hedges.

If you are scared of change, read "Who Moved My Cheese" by Dr Spencer Johnson.

If FREEDOM important for you?

If I can do it, YOU CAN too.
