WE NEED A NEW ORIENTATION

The problem of unity in Nigeria is not the tribe or ethnic and cultural diversity. ln fact this diversity and plurality are ingredients and spices that will lead to unity in Nigeria. The greatest problem we have in this diversity is the unrealization of the fact that these diversities have nothing to do with our normal day to day interaction but rather should enhance our living and appreciate one another's culture, tribe and ethnicity. This calls for the need to be deoriented in other to be educated and this must begin from our schools, colleges, and even in the church. The emphasis on tribal societies and organization should be on a discreet and prudent display in union with the fact that our various tribes are only a part and not a whole.Therefore the clarion call to respect one aother no matter our geographical provenance, and to adhere to the religious and legal practise of the rule of law.
