As per the African traditions having a male child was and still is a plus for both parties involved, civilization and westernization is here with us with a different view on the matter that its better for you to have a female child than a male one, but when they grow up will not these same females need the males to sire other females??? On biblical point of view, children (male and female) are gifts from God, show the all the love, care and give them the support required and u will have no room for comparison.
