I' ve never understood why women stay with abusive men. I understand in some situations they are financially dependent and that has something to do with it - but not always. I always hear women saying " he will change" but of course that never happens. I understand there is a cycle of violence, but like any cycle it becomes predictable. I want to hear your opinion or even your experience as to why women do not leave men who abuse them?
