A king has two sons from different women, and is confused as to who among his sons will replace him as the next king. The king understands the rigors of leadership, and he expects the next ruler to be someone that has empathy for his subjects, able to dispense impartial judgment, and has a sense of decorum when faced with difficult situation. It is an arduous task, but he has to find a way to choose a suitable king for his subjects.
