After listening to the song above, I’m sure you are wondering who’s behind that voice. His name is Séyi – a 21 year old with a voice that sounds much older than his age.

Séyi Ogunleye who hails from South East London says he has always had an undying love for music even though he was not brought up in a musically savvy home. His epiphany of music came to him at the age of 12, when he was asked to sing a Christmas Carol at school. This motivated him to join the choir where he learned the ropes and developed his vocals.

Séyi now feels it’s the right time for him to break into the mainstream market after taking his time to grow and mature musically.

We say his music will speak for him anywhere even though it’s quite hard for R&B UK acts to break ground (think Craig David).

With the likes of Darey, Femi and a few others doing us proud already, Séyi is a lovely addition to the talented pack!
