New Twist In Motunrayo's Death, Was She A Mistress? Was She Barren?

First of all, I actually know the decaesed and she did not end her life bcos of a man as is being reported. she suffered from acute depression and a break up with her Bf amongst other things added to her depression. she had alot going for her and was always a bubbly extroverted girl, full of life. she went to jand last year for her masters and started feeling very low and depressed alot but no one thot it to be anything serious. she later defferred and moved back to naija. on her return she cut off from her friends, deleted almost all her bb contacts and would not return anyones calls, she hardly left her house and just felt detached and abandoned. she craved attention but no one had her time really. most of her best friends are scattered round the globe and the few here had issues of their own. she lived with her sister and soon later started giving her attitude which caused a rift between them. she didnt want people knowing she was back in the country and kept to herself. Nobody thot anything of it.

On saturday she said she was going to a friend's house and instead locked herself in her room and hung herself. her body was only discovered yesterday Monday. Funny how people center on one aspect of ur life and focus on it. while the break up obviously added to her depression, it was not the sole cause of her suicide. she had family problems, had an operation to remove a cyst and was just generally disturbed by alot of things. she was to start a new job with MTN yesterday monday and her father had recently bought her a new car.
i do not like to speak ill of the dead or judge anyone. Its between her and her maker now. But people please understand that depression is a silent killer and very real in our society. here we dont have the tools to treat it so its often overlooked but the truth is alot of people are walking around feeling depressed. it not just about having a bad day, or a bad week; depression is a mental illness and we dont have therapists or drugs here for it. Its not only Oyinbos that suffer from it. and there are signs. People can have everything in the world and still be unhappy, still feel sad. Being someone who has been depressed b4 i know how she must have felt and the only way we can deal with it here is to verbalize. Talk to someone, reach out... bcos keeping it all in is what drives people insane.
I guess she got to the level where she felt no one cared and no one would even notice if she were gone. I mean she was dead for 2 days before she was even found. I feel suicide is a selfish act and an easy way out of life. People suffering from depression should be monitored and always around positive energy cos if not, u are silently killing yourself and its only a matter of time before they start thinking of evil, that why some people have to be kept on suicide watch becos they are a danger to themselves and they have reached the stage of not giving a f**k about anything or anyone.
So please people, get the facts right and everyone is entitled to their own opinion but i implore you never to speak ill of the dead or judge. We will all die one day and the question is what will people say about you when you are not there to defend yourself?

Pretty 26yr old Motunrayo Agbara's corpse was discovered hanging from the ceiling of her sister’s residence on Allen Avenue on Monday July 18, 2011.

They say she committed suicide because her lover jilted her, but her family members have disputed this.

Late Motunrayo had an operation last year that affected her uterus (Cyst), her womb was removed, so that contributed to her depression, which she complained a lot about and even attempted to kill herself last year but was rescued. Guess she succeeded this time around. So sad!

She finished from Queens College in 2001, was a graduate of Economics, University of Lagos and an ex-employee of Access Bank. She was buried yesterday Tuesday 19th of July at Vaults and Garden Cemetery, Ikoyi. May her soul rest in peace...amen.

Huhuonline.com checks reveal that Motunrayo allegedly hung herself with a rope after she was jilted by her “sugar daddy”.
Huhuonline.com sources reveal that the deceased had served as a longtime mistress to a well-known business tycoon (Name Withheld), who resides in Lagos with his wife and children. However trouble started when the business man ended the relationship because his wife had discovered that he was having extramarital affairs, and threatened to divorce him.
The late banker, Motunrayo, had hoped to become his second wife, but the wife of businessman, who is alleged to be heavily invested in his business, threatened him with divestment, and turned his home into a battle ground. Thus, in order to deescalate the tension in his home, he reluctantly dumped Motunrayo.
However, according to family sources, Motunrayo did not take the rejection well, "Since then, she had not remained herself as a result of the incident. She had done everything to bring back the man to no avail. She could not control the emotional trauma and so ended up taking her life,” a family member affirmed.
Huhuonline.com learnt that Motunrayo, a graduate of Mass Communication from the University of Lagos, had fallen deeply in love with the married man, who was very instrumental to her growth at the banking sector. He ensured she always got colossal deposits from himself and other business associate; hence she always met her target.
"She was sponsored by her lover (The business tycoon) to pursue her Master’s degree abroad," a source added.
