Juju maestro,King Sunny Ade was penultimate Monday evicted from his 666b,Tawa Aliu Bello Street,Omole Estate Phase 11 duplex.The eviction which was carried out by a detached Sheriff Assistants of the High Court of Lagos State lasted four hours.
Until the eviction,the duplex served as the office of one of the foremost JuJu musician’s investment,KSA Investment.The landlord,according to reliable sources had filed legal papers to have the award winning JuJu musician evicted from his office which also doubled as the apartment of one of his sons popularly known as Oba and daughter,Kemi.
Reliable sources informed that the duplex owned by a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Chief Ebenezer Babatope,whose daughter occupy the other wing of the duplex,has filed a law suit sometime in July against KSA Investment in a bid to have the company evicted,insisting she wanted to take possession.
In response to this notice,KSA’s staff and his son,Oba moved some valuable items from the duplex,while negotiating time and possibly a rescind of the decision to evict them.About five months after,the landlady got a judgement against their continued stay in the duplex on Monday,19th December 2011.Led by a police officer,four sheriff assistants detailed from the High Court of Lagos moved into the property,and met Oba,who was presented the court order and after all persuasions failed,they moved in and started to remove and clear the apartment of KSA’s belonging.
It took nearly four hours before the Sheriffs Assistant finally took legal possession of the property.Speechless and helpless,Oba made frantic calls before the General Manager of King Sunny Ade’s organization,Charles Ogundipe arrived the scene.
Before his arrival,a blue CABSTAR truck with registration XW378 AKD,drove into the premises and carried the belongings.
The various items were later moved to King Sunny Ade’s personal mansion situated in No 1,Osokoya Street in the same estate.

King Sunny should know better and not put himself in a situation like that. If the eviction is inevitable, don't wait to be humiliated. Guy you've got to align your priorities well, besides you are worth more than that place.

i happen to be on set on the same street with the said duplex. i was infact on the day the eviction took place. the duplex is used by his son as an office and not his residence as he is not always there.
