An high sea disaster was avoided during the week when Nollywood star actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and legendary producer, Eddie Ugboma were left stranded on the Atlantic ocean for hours.

The duo and others who were on the movie set of...

Teco Benson's latest movie were left stranded and floating for more than three hours in the speed boat conveying the cast and crew from the Atlas Cove where they’d gone for shooting.

"It was indeed a twist of fate because, we’d actually gone to shoot some scenes for the movie ‘Blood On The River’ and there we were stranded on the Atlantic ocean”, disclosed Eddied Ugboma.

Narrating the genesis of the problem, the Delta State producer who stars as Omotola’s father in the new movie flick, said “the boat man didn’t realise he hadn’t enough diesel in the boat until we were mid-way on the Atlantic. Suddenly the engine stopped right in the middle of the sea and we were left stranded.

"As the boat man made frantic effort to reach his colleagues, our boat stayed adrift for three hours”.

Continuing, Eddie said “as we prayed for God’s intervention, the boat drifted towards the water front of the America Embassy. And that was when we sensed trouble. The security men threatened us with guns because they thought we were pirates. My brother, it was God’s intervention that saved us from being shot at.”

Finally, he added, “the boatman’s colleague then brought in diesel and we were able to conclude our journey.”

first of all i am  happy they did not die but in all this who is to blame the producer is to blame because how can he start a journy he new quiet well that is dangerous with out checking the diesel tank on the the boat or without real prepairation .carelessness
