President of the NFF, Alhaji Aminu Maigari told the board during their meeting this afternoon that there is no going back on the sacking of Siasia who failed to qualify Nigeria for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations after the Eagles were held to a 2-2 draw match by Syli Nationale of Guinea in Abuja on 8 October in Abuja, Nigeria.

A source at the meeting revealed that four out of 11 members of the board did not support the sacking of Siasia with an objection that the former Nigerian international brought about positive development in the senior national team since he took over from Austin Eguavoen.

They were also of the opinion that relieving Siasia of his job now will mean that a new coach will have to start all over again, which according to them, won’t be good for the Eagles and the nation’s football.

The meeting was ongoing as at the time of writing this report.

I like Siasia for his disciplinary stance but the dude did not qualify us for ordinary Nation's Cup - Our Birthright. I doubt his talent is with the Under 23s or below. Leave the Biog Boys to Keshi/ Oliseh.

its quite  understandable that he do not qualify the eagles, though we re not happy but that must not just lead to disrupting his contract,

SACKING SIASIA WILL NOT BRING IN ANY TANGIBLE SOLUTION TO THE WOES OF OUR NATIONAL TEAMS (SUPER EAGLE ETC)

LET US TELL OUR SELF THE TRUTH WHERE OUR PROBLEMS IS, WAIT A MINUTE HOW DO U EXPECT A BETTER SUPER EAGLE WHEN WE DID NOT HAVE A BETTER NFF OR NFA? CAN SOMEONE  HERE TELL ME HOW ON EARTH PEOPLE WHO DID NOT PLAY FOOTBALL OR STUDY IT AS THEIR PROFESSION OCCUPIED THE TOP SEATS SUCH AS NFF NFA EVEN SPORTS MINISTER,IN FACT THE MOST SENSELESS ASPECT OF IT IS THAT NON OF THIS SO CALL SPORTS MINISTER OR NFF OR NFA CHAIRMAN HAS PASSION FOR FOOTBALL, I AM SICK AND TIRED HOW PEOPLE ARE EXPECTING TO HARVEST WHAT THEY DID NOT PLANT, PLEASE MY FELLOW NIGERIANS IT'S VERY VERY UNFORTUNATE THAT WE ALL EXPECT TO HARVEST YAM WHEREAS WE PLANTED COCO YAM. I TRIED MANY TIMES TO ACCESS ENGLAND FA TO SEE HOW IT BEEN MANAGE, ALL I COULD SEE IS THE EX FOOTBALLERS AND THOSE WHO HAS EXPERIENCE IN SPORTS STUFFS, ALSO THE SAME THING WITH BRAZIL. ALL THIS BUNCH OF CRAPS KEEP ME WONDERING IF OUR EX FOOTBALLERS AND EX SPORTS PERSONALS ARE NOT WORTHY TO OCCUPY THOSE SEATS,THEY KNOWS WHAT IT TAKES TO MAKE A NATION A GREAT FOOTBALL COUNTRY, HOW ON EARTH CAN WE EXPECT GOOD OR POSITIVE RESULT FROM NIGERIA SPORTS WHEN THE SPORTS MINISTER DID NOT KNOW WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF SPORTS NEITHER DO OUR SO CALL NFF AND NFA KNOWS WHAT FOOTBALL IS ALL ABOUT. TO BE FRANK IF NIGERIA LIKE LET THEM EMPLOY MUORINHO OR SIR LEX FERGUSON THERE WON'T BE ANY DIFFERENT,EVERY COACH WILL ALWAYS END UP AS A FAILURE AS LONG AS THOSE ALHAJI AND CO STILL OCCUPY THOSE SEAT,I AM NOT TRYING TO SUPPORT SIASIA BUT I AM ONLY TRYING TO MAKE A POINT AND MY POINT IS,IF WE DREAM TO HAVE A BETTER TEAM IN THIS COUNTRY LET US RESTRUCTURE THE BOARD STARTING FROM SPORTS MINISTER DOWN TO SO CALL NFF AND NFA, THEN LOOK FOR A CAPABLE COACH WHO WE CAN OFFER A LONG CONTRACT TO REBUILD THIS TEAM FOR US, EXCEPT THAT NO MAGIC IS GONNA HELP US TO HAVE A GOOD TEAM IN THIS COUNTRY, THIS IS MY OPINION,

de BIG question Remains, WHO WILL REPLACE SIASIA? or WHO VE THEY PREPARED AS A REPLACEMENT BEFORE SACKING SIASIA... or they just sack him 4 personal or selfish reasons... NFF should be wise. Sad Sad Sad

NFF SHOULD BE WISE OR SHOULD BE SACK AS WELL? FOOTBALL ORGANIZATION NEED TO BE RUN BY THOSE WHO KNOWS WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT, YOU CAN'T JUST APPOINT ONE ALHAJI WHO DOES NOT KNOW HIS LEFT AND RIGHT IN FOOTBALL AND EXPECT A POSITIVE RESULT.JUST SAYING.
