Men sometimes refer to their partners as "investments", understandably because of the amount of time, money and material they spend in maintaining their woman. This has sometimes led to some men tagging their women as an asset.

Ladies, what do you think? do you find this offensive or disrespectful in anyway? Considering that you are human like men too, is it fair to be tagged an "asset"?

Let me know your opinion on this one.

No man has tagged me such....probably becos no man other than my dad has invested in my person......

But if a man tries to make me feel like a property he acquired with money, am going to be cross with him.......

A woman can be an asset to her man when he takes her as a very important 'thing', which to me is good. But some men take their women as property they have the liberty to use anyhow. That to me is totally wrong. Women are supposed to be helpers and not properties hence must be loved and respected.

Women are not assets. They should be treated with respect and dignity..... They are fragile and should be handled with utmost Care....

The word 'asset' is not used in its literary sense to mean 'property' but figuratively to denote 'extreme value'.

it has becom a common thing, even guy wey no dey spend too dey talk say women are asset, well na my dad still dey invest, we all are investment to our parent because dey too wil somehow become liabilities one day. that means the guy wey talk say women are investment self be liability.

As for me, am not crossed with it.
