I dont know why our so called president always have misplaced priorities, So like a year ago (or more), the president of the supposedly most populous black nation on earth joined facebook in an "I Belong" move to be like Obama, outcome? Over a year now and all he has is a meagre 500K fans, imagine president of a county where population is well over 250 Million.

6 hours ago petit size football, the almighty Lionel Messi, joined same facebook and in 6 hours he already has 7 Million fans.

Goodluck Jonathan has already been seen spending how money on "celebrities" to campaign for him, the last thing we want is to spend the time we pay him for poking people and looking for mistresses online, HABA MR. PRESIDO!!!

Just focus on governing an leave all these distractions, if you have anything to tell Nigerians go to punch, vanguard or any newspaper and tell us, stop mesmerizing around else I will report you to aunty Patience

I don't really see anything wrong about the president embracing technology. Also, camparing him to the likes of Messi or any other international figure for that matter is unfair. Comparing him to his likes I think will be more appropriate - say other African presidents. Majority of Soccer and music fans around the world have no clue of who the president of any country is, bcos they have no reason to, unless you are a history making president like Obama. 500k followers is good enough.

With all due respect Mr Poster... You are fool, most nigerians don't have the time of buying newspaper or sitting in front of tv everyday to listen to all da news....  Jonathan uses the social network to express his thought and get ideas from pple dat use da internet....... For ur info, Jonathan is called "facebook President"according to CNN Because he was  d only president with highest number of "likes" in 2009... So pls stop comparing a president with a footballer dat is know Worldwide..  Wink

I don't normally curse, but poster i think this is the most stupid and unprofessional act i have ever seen.....i guess you are not different from your character. gaining popualarity on facebook makes you a better person? or is facebook your new life? if you don't respect your president as a father and as a man, respect him as a leader, because you will never get there till you are no more i bet you...Fool!
