Mother Jailed For 10 Years For Having Sex With Daughter's Friends

A mother has been jailed for ten years after admitting having sex with teenage boys who were friends of her daughter.

Cathleen Miller, 40, plied her victims, all aged between 14 and 15, with alcohol and marijuana and then seduced them at her home in a Chicago suburb.
The mother-of-three was arrested last July after her daughter walked in on her mother having sex with one of her friends from high school.


He later posted an apology on the daughter's Facebook wall, which his parents then saw and alerted police, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
Miller, whose other daughters were aged three, ten and 14, at the time, originally denied any wrongdoing and said the boys brought the alcohol and drugs into her home in Chicago Ridge.
But as police investigations continued she eventually confessed after contemplating suicide.
Miller, who has been remanded in custody since her arrest, had just separated from her husband at the time of the offence and was seeking a protection order against him while filing for divorce. 
John Russell, her lawyer, said that she had been the victim of domestic abuse.
‘She does need some serious treatment involving some psychiatric issues that have developed,’ he told the Huffington Post.
On Friday Miller pleaded guilty to aggravated criminal segxwal abuse and criminal segxwal assault at Cook County Court.
Her mother and sister and the families of two of her victims were present as she was sentenced to three years each for three of the victims and one year for a fourth.
A fifth boy also accused Miller, but prosecutors did not proceed with his case.
Miller’s children now live with their father in the family home and a divorce is pending.
