Strange as it may seem the use of a wedding ring by men was not common until recently. Whereas women have worn wedding rings for eons, men have not. The use of rings as a symbol of everlasting love enshrined in marriage can be traced back thousands of years. But not so much for men.
I've never heard of a man wearing an engagement ring, wedding ring yes but not an engagement ring. Some men don't even wear their wedding ring. WHY?

if it is party rings they wear it but When married men don’t wear a wedding ring, what message are they sending?

 Huh? Huh?

If the agreement is between the husband and wife and they understand themselves and the reason behind it then i dont see any problem. But if the husband on his part is not wearing it due to some cheating then its wrong.

I think its relative...its tied to the married man in question...Some do it for convenience (because they aren't use to wearing a ring); Others do it to continue with the PLAY BOY MANSION Game (nor ask me wetin e mean o)... Grin

a male friend told me that the guys at work don't because they want to cheat on their wives, and even though  he wears his, he says he feels like a huge target for the single ladies- they think it's a challenge to go after a married man?!  Shocked

IS IT TRUE?? I NEED ANSWERS FROM BOTH GUYS AND LADIES.. Smiley

Partly true and partly false...Omorewa, a guy who wants to cheat on his wife would do so, with or without a wedding ring...Likewise a guy who wants to stay faithful to his wife would do so, with or without a wedding ring... Wink
