AGOS, Sept 17 (Reuters) - Virgin Nigeria said on Thursday it was changing its name to Nigerian Eagle Airlines, further cutting ties with founder Virgin Atlantic [VA.UL], and was in talks with international investors to raise fresh capital.
The airline, which last month signed a technical partnership with Ethiopian Airlines [ETHA.UL], is also planning a private placement within the next six weeks, Managing Director Dapo Olumide told a news conference in Lagos. Rendering efficient services, making sure we dont have flying coffins, meeting with the global standard so that they can compete favourably with other national airlines around the world, etc.........does dat answer ur question?
