we have all heard the fantastic stories about someone who could not walk, see, talk e.t.c but went to some renowned babalawo and all of a sudden everything is set rite....on the other hand we have also heard the horror stories of these cures having terrible side effect due to herbs used. in Nigeria if we have noticed the dependence on traditional medicine seems to be on the increase and lots of people are fast losing their trust for modern medicine. so which do we think works best or can be trusted?......*note*- this is not a religious issue, i'm am just asking for honest opinions.

In our dear Nigeria all the herbalist and ritualist have baptized themselves as traditional Doctors,what am yet to know is the efficacy of thier drugs. But for all i care modern medicine has proved to be more effective but some herbalist are trying anyway.

I prefer traditional medicine. Will take me about 30 pages to tell you why!
All modern medicine are a modification of our traditional ones except for vaccinations.
To be honest, I belief most illnesses can be prevented by the person, maybe through change of diet, spirituallity or physically keeping fit. No need for vaccination.
The only thing that can kill me, is no food. Food items such as fruits, water, leaves, roots, etc carry enough medicine to repair any illness in my body!
The missing bit is :-) sexual healing!!

hhhmmmm...i know...in fact traditional medicines can heal faster and i think it is better but i hate most of the traditional medicines taste....thats why i prefer to stick to moedern doctors...yeah i know 'no pain no gain'.....but its ok i can still be cured by taking nicer medicines....  |

i once dislocated my ankle in villa and the closest peron dat could help was the native doc  ...belive me it was VVVVEEEEEERRRRRYYYYY!!!!!!!painfull indeed....he had to twist my leg bak into shape!!!!! |

I think you were swindled. Dislocation is not a break and all that is needed is to fix it back by manipulation, anybody with some knowledge of what is normal can possibly do this. The other thing about injuries is that most tend to heal naturally. So, this allows quack to lay claim to what was divine intervention. Babalawo or traditional medicine has no basis, that is why they cannot have the same outcomes for two identical treatments. With all the tongue lashing of modern medicine, anybody is better off with it - even in Nigeria as bad as things are!! |

SEX does help - it is number one natural remedy. U don't need to find a "Babalawo" for that. In the unlikelihood that u amy need some - just ask and ye shall be given. :-)) |
