Tolu Davies was born on the 9th of June, 1977 in Lagos State, Nigeria. She is the second daughter of the family. She had her both elementary primary & Secondary Schools education in Lagos, Osogbo & Ilorin. And she sat for her SSCE at Queen Elizabeth College, Ilorin, Kwara State in the year of 1995. Thereafter She proceeded for her Ordinary National Diploma at Polytechnic of Ilaro, Ogun State, she studies Business Administration and graduated in the year 2004. As a matter of fact, she was born with music inside and music is one of her parts. Like ribs, kidneys and heart. It was a force already within her when she arrived on the scene and it was a necessity for her like food or water. She started her music career as a choir in her local churches in Osogbo, Ibadan and Abeokuta and finally Choir's Director at Living Spring Church, Abeokuta. She won so many merits and souls for God even in so many occasions, many souls received healing and salvation through her songs ministration. Evang. Tope Alabi her Aunty, developed interest in her and she was brought to Tope Alabi Gospel Vibes. In the year 2001, she officially joined Tope Alabi Gospel Vibes as a back-up singer. She earned her training and also exposed to all the core areas of music profession. She was involved in various album and soundtrack productions and also in stage dance especially in home video records both in home and abroad which later prompted her to release her own album with six tracks, titled ORE OFE. Tolu Davies is happily married to her husband Ayoola Davies and blessed with a daughter and a son. She was influenced by her genius hubby the theory aspect of music and his words of encouragement keeps me on...Thus: Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to imagination and charm and gaiety to life and everything. Without music, life would have been a mistake. I thank God for HIS grace.
