Hide it until you need it, so no one knows you have it until you use it against them. this refers to talents, skills, brains, etc. Note: you shouldn't hide them from people you love, true friends. It's a delicous survival tactic.
It is better to not speak and leave people wondering if you are stupid than to speak and remove all doubt
