I'm quite an independant person and i like to prov

I'm quite an independant person and i like to prove that I can do everything by myself. The problem is I dont want to anymore. I'm not looking to rush into anything, I'd just like to spend sometime with a nice guy who makes me laugh once in a while. I'm a straight forward kinda girl, what you see is what you get. I work hard and enjoy my job. I'm into DIY at the moment but more because I have to than anything else. I love bad weather, which is probably a little wierd but i'm like a child when it snows. My dream is to go strorm chasing in America. for fun:I love to go to the cinema, i'll watch anything. At least then i know if its rubbish. I'll read almost anything too, mostly thrillers, or sci-fi/fantasy. I love to eat out and cook for friends at home. I'm a bit of a computer game girl too. my job:I'm a lab chemist and its not quite as dull as it sounds. I mangage to spend a lot of time there and I hardly ever get chance to be bored. favorite hot spots:I've always wanted to travel and see different cultures but never had the chance. I'd love to see more of the UK too, I think i'll tackle that first. I enjoy a chat in a quiet pub but i'll be on the dancefloor in the nightclub the same night. favorite things:My favourite place in the whole world (so far) is Flambrough on the east coast, its just magical to me. I adore chinese food, my car and my house. My cats are possibly too cute and friendly for some people, but i'm stuck with the pair of them now. last read:Working my way through the Sharpe series by Bernard Cornwell, but i've just finished Only Forward by Michael Marshall Smith which is possibly the most surreal book i've read. I'm looking for a down to earth guy, who can give and take and can hold a decent conversation in the pub Probably a quiet drink in the pub. No point going somewhere if you can't hear each other talk.
