This movie shares the differences between a polygamous and a monogamous family. Kayode and his wife shares the same genotype which doesn't favour their children. His mother pressures him to marry a second wife but he has vowed to his wife never to do such. The couple loses a child to sickle cell anaemia now Kayode is hanging on the balance between fulfilling his mother's wish and keeping to his vow.
