Gerald is engage to Helen, a woman aspiring to break into a prestigious women lib fraternity. Their criterion for admission is subduing the men in their lives. Helen discovers that Gerald is not the sort man she could ride on. Her attitude forces Gerald to seek love elsewhere. And then Charlene, a lovely, gentle, easy going lady rescued from the hands of a violent boyfriend by Gerald, had an instant impact on him, a relationship ensues.
