An uneducated rich businessman invests in his fiance by sending to go study law just so she can stand for him against against a man whom he feels is about to cheat him of what belongs to him. She graduated, met a new learned man and then realizes that the businessman is no match for her as she now feels she cannot marry an illiterate. Coincidentally the man happens to be the one whom she was sent to study law for and stand against.
