The song was received in a dark season of my life in the year 2011. I had made up my mind to compromise the faith in order for me to obtain what I considered as a need at that time and then ask God for mercy after obtaining my desire. But while I was pouring out my heart unto God inside my ward rope where I used to pray, the song busted forth. After that encounter, I made up my mind to wait on God. About a week after that, I heard the Lord’s voice clearly saying to me in my room that in Him I will find good success but outside of Him I will find troubles.
I will wait is a song for people passing through the wilderness season of their life.
