What goes up must come down, it only takes time!

Ben Iyke James-Enwereji (born October 9, 1991), aka Di Stereo Buster, better known by his stage name ” j BOLD ” is a fast rising multi talented Nigerian Afropop singer, Songwriter, performing artist, Interior decorator and businessman. EARLY LIFE Ben was born in Aba, Abia State Nigeria into the humble family of late Elder & Mrs. James Alozie Enwereji of Isi-Ala Ngwa South LGA. The second of seven kids. j BOLD has been on his grind for years now, writing and doing back up for a good number of established and up and coming artists but made his debut in the year 2011 with his then Radio-favorite heavy hitting single “LOVE IS IN THE AIR” A mid-tempo groovy and catchy R&B Song which received massive airplays and sold 11,000+ copies of ordinary promo CDs in his home town of Aba ‘Enyimba City ‘, Port Harcourt and Owerri in less than two weeks of release (2011). Followed by his second single “Going Away” and then “OBiM” released Feb. 2013 which according to him was a bigger success ,after almost two years silence j BOLD rebranded and popped up again in mid September 2015 with an upbeat party hit single titled ” IVA ” , something very different from his usual sound just to let the world know that his creativity knows no boundaries. Ben’s foray into music began with just a simple dream,a little keyboard and a tape recorder and some quick and smart thinking which birthed his very first demo. While growing up he was exposed to a variety of music from Fela Kuti,Don Williams,Bob Marley,John Lennon,Peter Tosh to Fugees and a whole lot of others and he soon discovered the magic of music. At the age of 14 j BOLD knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life and started honing his singing and rapping skills and earning some local praise in his home-town Aba where he grew up with his siblings. And his late parents who were ardent music lovers set the pace and allowed him the space to master his craft. He relocated fully to Lagos, South-west Nigeria on his own in 2007 in search of greener pastures and immediately he started performing on the stages of nightclubs and bars in Lagos, and most time traveling to Port Harcourt and Owerri especially.
