Okere Daniels Kelechi is an athlete and a footballer. Born into the family of five, the young footballer started as ball boy while playing for Pepsi Academy in Aba. through hardship and other social problems, he was not able to grasp early opportunities to undergo trials in Nigeria for European based teams, but nonetheless he has been doing excellently well with all his local teams. He Plays for the bendel insurance of Edo state currently in the Nigerian National League (NNL). He plays a point 9 man in every game and has an average of 2 goals per match.. one of the few players who made the Nigerian trial list of the 2013 U17 world cup, but was dropped toward the final selection due to injury picked up during a friendly against Switzerland.. He has played a total of 8 team starting from his childhood academy "Pepsi academy" Aba. played for riverlain FC at Enugu State along side the current FC Poto u20 midfielder and 2013 world cup king, Chidera Ezeh. from there he was transfered to star plus FC just before 2014 Enugu State league and Challenge cup. His other teams include: Royal force football Academy, Benin city Evergreen FC Enugu Junior Rangers, Enugu New generation FC umuahia Edo all stars. Benin city and currently playing for the bendel insurance not as a full contract player but as part time. He is looking for opportunities to show himself and proof that he can play in any level.
