I’ve looked at other guy’s profiles and many of them seem to try to sell themselves just to get a date. I’m just going to tell you who I am and whom I'm searching for. I am an honest, kind, loyal, patient, intelligent man, who was raised to love and respect women. I have been told that I am a very sensual and passionate gentleman. I am very calm and even-tempered, and therefore do not enjoy volatile people. I gave a good sense of humor, and like to laugh a lot, and am not fond of people who take life too seriously. I am a good listener, but also like to talk and communicate. I am easygoing, easy to talk to, enjoy people, and try to make people feel comfortable and at ease. I have been told by many women that I am really fun to be with, make them laugh, and have a great sense of humor. I enjoy stimulating conversation and love to talk. I am very sociable, and meet women and friends very easily but I know what I want. I enjoy being and feeling like part of a family, and am a lover of children, dogs, cats, and pets. I am a giver more that a taker, and try to make people happy. I see the good in the world, and see the cup as half full. I enjoy candlelight dinners, long kisses, holding hands, snuggling, and spooning. Sexuality is very important to me, and I place my partners pleasure before my own. Making quick plans and just doing it is great, let's make it interesting/fun/new or something we love to do. Day-trips, movies in or out, going to some little town for antique shopping. I actually love shopping. My humor ranges from subtle to absurd, but never 3-Stooges absurd. I feel I'm well-enough versed in enough subjects that I can keep up with almost any conversation. I read, mostly non-fiction, because I like learning lessons from other people's real experiences. I’m a hard worker. I'm looking forward to being able to travel with someone. I’d love to see Paris at night, Formula One racing at Monaco, the rolling fog in London, and do NYC at Christmas and have packages piled so high I can barely see where I'm going! If only I looked like Cary Grant... Please let me open the door for you, help you over the puddles, and stand up when you leave the table. I'm polite, friendly, and can handle just about any situation gracefully. I ask people about themselves far more than I talk about myself. I'll never embarrass you, I don't over-drink, I’ll flirt with you and only you. There are a hundred opportunities a day to strengthen love and I recognize those moments. It can be as simple as an unexpected kiss, a long hug, a note on the fridge, a flower sticking out of your purse, setting you down on the couch with your favorite drink and making dinner. Love is priceless, and it's so worth the effort. I tend to think more about the big pictures, the 30,000 foot view, and I appreciate so many moments, big and small, for the gifts they are. When something goes well I’ll often give a smile and a quick little nod to the sky.
