SCUZE ME WHILE I KISS THE SKY

I am a man from the United States. I visited Nigeria for the month of November in 2007. I have friends in Lagos and in Owerri. Two friends are Ibo and one is Yoruba. They taught me a few words so I can say kedu and bawoni. lol I know about Femi Kuti, Styl-Plus, and Du Du Radio. lol I am a retired high school English teacher. I have lived in New Orleans, Louisiana; Brooklyn, New York; Gulfport, Mississippi, and now I live in St. Pete, Florida. I enjoy classical and jazz music, movies (including movies made in Africa), reading (I will soon read THINGS FALL APART and A LONG WAY GONE: MEMORIES OF A BOY SOLDIER), and I am a big NBA fan. I like people who are not prejudiced or bigoted, and I like people who are interested in different kinds of people and different ideas and approaches to life and living. I spent the month of last October (2008) with my Naija friends in Lagos, Owerri, and Aba. We had great times together, including going out for ice cream. I like ice cream. lol My Godson is a student at Imo State, and I spent a lot of time with him and also with his family. Watched some programs on Afrika Magic and some movies from Nollywood. We also watched a lot of Hollywood movies on my Godson's computer. I hope I can return in 2009 but it is so expensive.
