Stanley Merekini popularly known as S-realla J-Bulldozer A.K.A Mr A.K.A was born on 9th May in the 80's in Portharcourt, Rivers State and also was raised there. Bulldozer second from a family of Five, 2boys and 3girls, whose Late Father was Elder Sunday Wehere and the Mum Mrs Grace Ndu Wehere. Stanley had an interesting childhood. He always had a passion for music and started rapping and doing dance hall music at the tender age of 13. He loved performing to his peers, gathering friends and showing off his rap and dance hall skills. He sings about anything and everything a 13yr old went through. He also started "hustling" at the age of 13 as he believed that his Dad's money was not his money. When his Dad left for work, he used push wheel barrows with heavey loads for people and get paid for it. This is the money he used to pay for his studio sessions. This exposure to street life gave him more to rap about and he began to have big dreams for his future. This also where the nickname Wheel barrow boy came from. The first song he ever recorded was called Hood, at the age of 16. It was about the hustle in the streets. With that he started performing at birthday parties and sneak out from his parents house for shows. The first time he got caught sneeaking out of the house he got beaten up by his Dad. This didn't stop him from pursuing his goal to make in the music industry. Instead it gave him more passion for his dream. The more his Dad punished him the more his hunger for his dream grew. Stanley's mother, on the other hand, supported his dream. She told him, "Son you don't need to worry, some day my son you'll get there and be making money." She told him all he had to do was to take a seat and have a real plan and that even when he fails he should change his game plan. She reminded him to put God first and that the crucifix of Jesus should always be in his pictures and nomatter what he does he should always remember Jesus. However, late Elder Sunday wanted Stanley to be an engineer thats why he was not supportive of his music career. At the aage of 18 after his high school, his dad arranged for him to leave the country because of the education system and his ambition for music. He was sent to Malaysia for a better quality of education. Stanley started Electrical electronics engineering at University of East London but in 2009 his dad passed away and tuition fees became a problem and he had to drop out of school. For a year or two, he was not able to get back to school in 2011. While he was out of school he went back on the hustle in the streets of Malaysia, burning his songs on to CD's and selling them and also peforming in Chinese and African clubs to get money for food to eat. During the time he was not in school S-Realla met producer Micah who later became his best friend and they started making proffessional music. Together they began making contact with big record labels like Sony, BMG etc. They also contacted superstars like Neyo, Missy Elliot Jay Zetc in the hope of getting signed and also to create a musical connection between Africa and America. They got some good responses and they needed to see Stanley in person but he was not able to present himself there because of visa issues. This hurdle did not stop Stanley, instead his music continued to progress and his talent continued to grow. He came out with tracks like Taking Over and Now I'm made. These tracks got him a lot of attentiontion and his popularity grew in the Malaysian community. He continued with his club perfomances and talent shows which featured known artists from Malaysia and Africa. Now here comes J Bulldozer with a new hit Driving Me Crazy featuring Micah (Prince of Africa), which is taking the globe by storm. Bulldozer has promised to take over the music game in Africa and the world at large with his album titled Diamond in the dirt that will be dropping soon. So keep an eye out for this diamond in the dirt that is destined to shine.
