Asphalt laying begins on the itaeko, totoro, sokori rd....This isn't a manual asphalt laying machine, its a semi automatic latest asphalt laying machine from CCECC! This isn't just laying asphalt on laterite which we were used to in this state in the past admin but a rd with layer of sand dust and gravel, full MC 1 and finally 5 inches thick of asphalt! The rd doesn't just have a planked laid casted drainage, its a heavily casted drainge with thick iron rods built on a solid drainage foundation of 6inches thick casted concrete in base, length and breadth. First of its kind in Ogunstate! Its not just a rd but a rd but a rd with a fly over bridge, pedestrian bridge, walk ways, flower lawn and a minimum life span of 25yrs!!! Its a rd constructed for reasons....to decongest the only business district in the state capital and to link the railway terminal at lafenwa via the almost completed new bridge over the Ogun river being facilitated by the ex speaker Dimeji Bankole!!! Interestingly, 18 of such rds are ready to be awarded any moment from now thruout the state including the sango, ijoko, akute, agbado, oke aro and ojodu abiodun..... God bless Ogunstate. SIA noni
