life is too short

Born and raised in southern Nigeria, Warri precisely, B-jizzle aka Bjae has never been new to music as he had a father who appreciated music so much that he had a collection of records and cassette tapes from the late 60’s to mid 80’s. This greatly influenced him and saw him reciting songs and rhymes with fellow classmates in his primary school days through his secondary school education, also recognized back then for his dance moves. At a stage, he started loving rap music and was influenced by artists like Epmd, Wu-Tang clan, Def Squad, and Mobb Deep soon afterwards he stuck with hip hop as his brand of music. Initially he used to just rhyme to other songs, and reproduce cd covers, logos and posters as Bjae, who holds a degree in architecture was and still is a good artist well known by friends and colleagues for his sketches. It was not long before he started writing his own rhymes as a freshman in the university. At that stage, he had been a member of a three-man crew which called themselves LFX. Though they never recorded or performed any song, they had been putting things in other before Bjae changed his institution to pursue his intended course of study. Here, after a few years he joined three other members to form the group D-Kon (short for Dead Konxious). A crew he used to freestyle and hang with in school, back then known as Ruckus . They recorded songs and had a few performances but could not put an album together and eventually split. They all still remain good friends. After the split, Bjae proceeded with his solo project which he had planned for a long time. He recorded enough songs for an album and has since been promoting his first single ‘Naija’ which has since been enjoying airplay in local radio stations. He is currently working on putting out his own enterprise branded Waffsyde Entertainment, a body which will boast of a record label, a production team as well as possible video productions. He is also the executive producer of his project. The album, though ready is still unreleased and untitled as Bjae promises it will be out out soon.
