I can do all things - Philippians 4:13
I am new to Abuja. I am a pretty liberal person and the few people who really know me would describe as a feminist, independent, wannabe activist (need to be more proactive in supporting causes I am passionate about to be worthy of the activist term), quiet, simple person. I lived in Nigeria (Lagos) nonstop my first 15 years but feel that I never really got to know my country properly because I always felt so different (Some of many reasons: never liked fashion/make-up, love to do things like walking for no reason, climbing and exploring nature, often buried in novels which are usually classics or fantasy/sci-fi, hated to hear any suggestion that men and women aren't equal or that men shouldn't do housework and women shouldn't pay on dates and stuff, never dream of some big wedding day as they say all girls do, it goes on and on and on) and so mainly kept my ideas to myself I guess because I always felt I couldn't find people who understand me. I've been away for a while and now I'm back I'm determined to have all that change, so I intend to be outspoken about the ideas I have always had, seek out similar folks out there and change as many minds as I can and have fun doing all of it.
Also, my second language is actually Ibo, just couldn't add it as it wasn't on the list. I do speak okay Dutch though.
