Akano Olakunle, stagenamed KAYCUBE - Tha Prince Charming, grew up in the ghetto streets of Lagos where it all began at a tender age whilst in college. Kaycube�s love for contempory music grew overwhelmingly In the early 2000�s, and as a young art still in college, he entertained at social gatherings, functions and notably in high school-socials, doing songs by established artistes like PLANTASHUN BOIZ, USHER, and WESTLIFE who greatly influenced his love for the art. Along the line in 2002, this passionate Dude began writing his own songs, it felt so good that he couldn�t stop and before long, Kaycube soon discovered that the art was his field and music was his callin. In 2007 with influence from the likes of LLcool J, Jay Z, Ruggedman and a few others, Kaycube found home in Hiphop music. And though started out with a keen love for R�n�B, he soon realised that Hiphop was the final and a more comfortable music genre under which to pitch his tent. In 2008, Kaycube recorded his first song- �Aint Pashushuos� produced by Dyclau- which became an instant Anthem on the lips of every student of the University of Ilorin, the surrounding institutions and the clubs at the time. And this success was just another attestation to the fact that he was born to do music. Kaycube has witnessed transitions that has kept him standing strong and keeping his followers constantly on their feet and his style of Hiphop comes cruizing home on the wheels of his background in R�n�B, which positions him as an emerging force that cannot be ignored in the Nigerian music scene and beyond. Kaycube is currently working on his album, but has two HOT Singles out already � DUNDUN YI LATA ft/ Y-MAN and � BEND YOUR BODY. On his general musical path and future, KAYCUBE affirms, �My greatest musical ambition is to be a force to reckon with in the Nigerian music scene and beyond.
