Fessor Nelson. an artiste with a distinct sense of rhythm officially started his musical career with his first recording (titled ‘rating’) in 2009. In 2010, his meeting with AyobamiOyetade (AKA Shrubz of Shrubz Multimedia) heightened the story lines.
Working with Shrubz, FessorNelson started planning on an album project which he tagged “Versatile Adventure 1” meant to be a two sided album.
These, he explained was a concept to showcase his versatility, especially the fact that he could flow comfortably with raps and rhythms on any genre of music.
Getting on with Versatile Adventure 1, Nelson recorded 12 tracks in 2010/2011. This didn’t meet his target of dropping the album in 2012 and promotion wasn’t intense.
The rapid change in and expectation of the music industry soon alter his plan as the local market’s expectation increased. As he made moves on meeting the running dynamic commercial standard, he heightened his rhythm, recording #Limpopo_Pie #SinWin #Skelewu_Cover #Deity_Boss in 2013.
These were immediately placed on promotion (low-key) and the acceptance was encouraging and although most weren’t documented, he performed in major events and his performances were sure thrilling.
Fessor Nelson says “I’ve got what it takes. The music industry needs me but there’s a bridge between my point now and that point of call. Its about the platform (Record Company) and/or Finance. I’ve been with a team and they can make things happen if the required facilities are intact. I’l just keep writing and designing beats.
