THANK YOU AGAIN LAGOSIANS: I HOLD THIS CHERISHED MANDATE WITH CARE!

MY Dear Lagosians,

I thank you all whole heartedly for entrusting in me the mandate and the onerous task to continue to pilot the affairs of the leadership and governance of our dear state again for another four challenging years through the just concluded April 26 election, a medium where all of you voted for me en masse for the continuity of our administration.

I accept this offer of service with pride and with the believe that, as usual, your prayer, support and encouragement will always be there to work in fellowship with me and our government, because we cannot always do it all alone.

I thank the leadership and followership of our great party,Action Congress of Nigeria, for the unalloyed confidence still reposed in me to continue to be the flag bearer of our political platform, here in Lagos State. My promise is that, within my humanly possible capacity, I will never disappoint that trust and believe.

Yes, there is no gain saying that the task of governing a complex cosmopolitan society like Lagos State will always continue to come with some unavoidable and taxing challenges, just like we have coped with many of them in the last almost four years.But the fact remains that we have had no choice than just to do all we must have to do to transform and development our society- we just must help our Lagos through collaborative efforts to continue to come out of socio-economic epilepsy,retardation and darkness it has coped up with over time- This prevalent and unfortunate circumstance obviously is a product of the failure of leadership and governance over the years in our Nation, which our own government has been working sincerely so hard to correct and re-define.And by Gods grace, we shall achieve more than we are achieving for Lagos state now in our first term by the second term. We promise never to take the trust and confidence Lagosians have built in our government for granted or disappoint it. We are going to try our best to leave Lagos better than your imagination at the end of our tenure in 2015.

I like to use this medium to thank everyone-all and sundry-that has contributed in one way or the other to the success of our re-election project-I say thanks a million!

Once again, I thank you a lot for re-electing me, while assuring you of a continuous peaceful, sanitised, clean, law and order compliant, environmentally organised, infrastructurally reformed as well as politically and socio-economically prosperous Lagos State.
