Ajay (Ayo Johnson AKA Upscale) was born in Lagos, Nigeria and migrated to the UK at the age of 9. With the ever changing music scene it's nice when someone comes along with a fresh new take. From street bangers to club hits, film scores to live production arrangements, Ajay is just that someone. His career started as a piano/keyboard player for his local church and a prominent musician/arranger for various choirs, bands and artists across the UK. His love for music led him into the world of music production. Ajay is a multi instrumentalist with the ability to play the Piano/keyboard, Guitar, Bass, Drums and vocal arrangement. Ajay later went on to start a production company known as Niimp Records (Nothing Is IMPossible), working alongside muti talented producer/engineer Alex Ayeni (aka Copernicus). Ajay has produced, co-written and arranged tracks for artist such as Yolanda Brown (Double MOBO award winner), S.O.S, Yetunde Johnson (YJ), Hayden Eshun (formerly Ultimate Chaos) just to name a few and has received worldwide recognition for his production work.
