FunkyD was Born on the 18th september 1984 to the family of mr. & mrs Luwis, Evelyn Ezuriuke in mbaitolu orodo Umuoynaihu umuodula Owerri Imo State. Name of origin: Chukwunatu Elvis Ezuruike, non as Chino, Super, Funkyd by fans dat Imo boi the hi moral, the 1st in a family of four while grow up as a negro in ghetto mile 3 diobu in Port,Harcourt Rivers State Nigeria.
Popularly non as talented and creative famous one right from childhood, ones a group of Cultural Heritage Dance Group Specialized in : Entertainment, Cultural Dance, Musical Video, Mc, T.v, Advert, Script Writing, Song writing, Comedy, Song writing. Motto: Africa Culture from grass root.
funkyd is also talented in art and Entertainment in industry. Apart from the singing talent that we are exhilarating today, it may also suprise many of us to that funkyd is bless artistcally just that he never shown his swagga as an underground musician.
funkyd attended amigbo primary school, mile 2 diobu ikokwu Port,harcourt, 1988 - 1996. While his Secondary Educationat at Commuinty secondary school Npkolu Oroworoko mile 4, ikwere village Port,harcourt. He attended the same secondary school with Timy, non as a popular musician Timaya egberi papa one of Bayalsa in 1997-2003.
funkyd later bagged an OHD in U.S.T. University of Science and Technology in Port,harcout as a per time student. Daddyboom's journey in music dates back to a decade ago when he started writing lyrics and composing his ryhmes in 2002 before he join his cousen in lagos as a phisician in search of fotune in lagos. In the biginning of his carrer, he co-founded with a musical group called CASAN, in Coker Orile Igunmu lagos Nigeria in 2005.
Comprising him self and other individual talented up coming musicians like Suffiano aka 3:16 hiphop hardcore rapa, and NK Gorege, Living rock, Wetembo malombo, Big zeal, Walex, African China, and many more.
The group un animously agreed to go solo paving the way for FunkyD to mastermind his own musical concept, since then it has not easy but step by step improvement for the talent we celebrate today.
FunkyD have been able to redefine his style of music after numerous studios experience, this is no doubt has made him a better musician that he is today, even though he would like attribute every success to the special grace of Jehove God almighty.
His first individual effort is about to released in 2011, It was a six trac commercial situation song reggae version single, the album titled HI MORAL (Confusion) This maiden album of his thrived in introducing the musical brand, FunkyD way into the Nigerian music scene, though the desired acceptance was fully realized owing to insulfficient funding of the project .
However, many fans who got a copy of the promo song would easly commend the effort of the up coming afro hiphop reggea singer.
Being a serious minded person that he is had realized he would need to do more if he must break into the mainstream of the ever dynamic music community of Nigeria.
This means he need to work hard to concentrate on developing research into his involving songs & comedy trends as well positiong him self capital - wise.
Looking at the music fem FunkyD that we now have today, everyone would easly agree that after relentles hard work, inspired by his genuine love for singing.
FunkyD is now out with a bang as the world is bound to witness a new Era of Revolutionized and Redefined Gener of the new booming music style that he has always believed in overtime.
FunkyD being the hi moral, is what nigerians and many more music fans worldwide have been waiting for.
The new album consist of six tracks songs and 2 bonus tracks which expected to be booming hits in many homes party jamz, and clubs, as well as the major air waves in Nigeria. FunkyD is one of the afro reggea hiphop prophetic artist we have today, finally he has come to hi de moral of the nation and to boom the place like never before.
With God all things are possible FunkyD agree that he still need to show more appriciation to God almighty for rising him from Zero to Hiroe.
